In the past it has been necessary to have several vehicles simply to enable all of the equipment required to be transported to the site. Now all that is required is one vehicle to tow the three phase conductor stringing winch and one to tow the 3 Drum Cable Drum Trailer. The trailer can be loaded, with all 3 drums, in the depot. The loading of the 3 drums should take no more than 10 minutes, and then straight out to site for almost immediate stringing to commence.
The trailer is a one man operation, with a centrally located operation station where control of the individually disc braked drums can be maintained up to a torque of 500Nm.

This particular winch is designed for use on both Overhead Lines and Underground Cables. A very compact and lightweight trailer winch the 210 has a dynamometer which allows us to preset the pulling force at 850kg which can be adjusted upto 1,000kg for specific occasions. This makes the machine ideally suited to ABC work.
A split drum for re-conductoring work or 8mm x 500m paracore rope and rope drums for new construction are available seperately.
When used on underground cable work the additional seperately supplied boom is required to allow horizontal line pulls in ducts and open trenches.

The Tail Tamer™ (patent pending) is a revolutionary lineman invention that safely controls conductors during construction and maintenance.
It is a temporary, multi-purpose hot line clamp for stringing, cutting and connecting overhead conductors.

Jumper-T Parking Stand

The Jumper-T is an insulated parking stand for temporary mechanical jumpers. It is made up of a 15” foam filled fiberglass pole, aluminum parking stand and duckbill clamp.

The Jumper-T can combine two shorter jumpers to create extra reach when needed and is a useful accessory when used with our BREAK-SAFE® tool. Simply move the jumper from the tools parking stand and secure it onto a Jumper-T to create an approved visible gap.

The USJT-001 has a straight aluminum parking stand approximately 11 1/4” long and 5/8” in diameter.
The USJT-002 uses a bent parking stand that is 3/4” in diameter.
This allows jumpers to be clamped in both the horizontal and vertical plane. Attaching jumpers on the vertical portion of the parking stand minimizes sag and reduces the potential for cross-phasing.
The duckbill clamp fits 4mm copper up to 31mm. The Jumper-T is rated for 300 Amperes Continuous Current and meets or exceeds all applicable industry performance criteria including OSHA 1926.951(d)(1) and ASTM F-711.

SAFETY
The USBS-600 is designed with a patent pending internal safety lock. If the tool is not reset the tool will not open. An external, manual locking pin keeps the tool either locked open or closed, until the operator is ready.
This tool features durable electrical grade fiberglass housings and a glove friendly design.

FEATURES
Some of the unique patent pending features include an extra large clamp capable of handling all wire sizes up to nearly 50mm diameter. Dual conductor bars allow the use of two mechanical jumper clamps which is needed to go above the typical 300 amp rating of mechanical jumpers.

The XLT line of Load Break Tools are specifically engineered to be light and maneuverable. The XLT-1 weighs under 5 pounds and is approximately 1 lb 3 oz lighter than the competition.
