Catalog Machine handles different prices per group of buyers (wholesale, retail, distributor, tier A and B). It does not yet give each single buyer their own link with their own prices.
How does it work?
- Keep one price per group on each product. Add a Money field per group to the product category (for example Wholesale Price and Retail Price) in Products → Categories → Fields, and fill them in by hand, by CSV, or from Shopify.
- Make one catalog per group. Copy your catalog, then in the copy's Settings → Advanced set Base Price Field to that group's price. Prices, variant rows and orders in that catalog use it. A line sheet can also show a group's price as a column.
- Send each group its own link. Publish each catalog and send it only to that group: see Send your catalog to buyers.
How do I keep the prices private?
- Hidden: only people with the link can open the catalog. Fine when the link goes only to that group.
- Protected (Pro): the catalog asks for an access code. Give each group's catalog its own code, so a retail buyer cannot open the wholesale prices even with the link.
Selling on Shopify with B2B price lists?
Your Shopify B2B price lists come in with your products. On the Shopify import screen, choose which lists to import; each one becomes a price on every product and variant, named after the list. After the import, Create price list makes a ready price-list catalog for that list, with its price already set as the base price.
Not built yet
- A separate link per buyer with that buyer's own prices.
- A buyer who logs in and sees their prices automatically.
Until then, one catalog per price group (above) is the way to do it.

Can one catalog show wholesale and retail prices? Yes, as two columns in a line sheet. To show each group only its own price, make one catalog per group.
Can each buyer see their own prices? Not yet per single buyer. Group buyers by price tier and send each group its own catalog.
Do Shopify B2B price lists work? Yes. Import them with your products and each list becomes a price you can use as a catalog's base price.
